Anand Sahasranaman

Anand leads the work of the IFMR Finance Foundation, working on issues of financial system design such as consumer protection and capital markets development. He also drives the agenda of sustainable financing of public infrastructure and services in small cities and villages. Prior to IFMR Finance Foundation, Anand was a founding member of IFMR Capital. He had previously worked on the structured credit desk at Broadstreet Group, a New York based hedge fund. He graduated with an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and has a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Darshana Rajendran

Darshana works on the research and advocacy initiatives of IFMR Finance Foundation. She has previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with the Department of Economics at City University, London and with Udaan, a centre for autistic children in New Delhi. She has done her M.Sc. Financial Economics from City University, London and BA (Hons.) Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.

Deepti George

Deepti works on specific aspects of IFMR Finance Foundation’s three – pronged approach, namely, advocacy, research and strategic collaborations. Prior to this, she worked with IFMR Rural Finance, where she was instrumental in designing content and systems for the establishment of a credible training function at Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services, a class of financial services providers that incorporates principles of high quality origination. Deepti holds a post-graduate diploma in management from IFMR, specializing in Finance and Human Resources.
